Lance Wright
CEO
Lance Wright is a founding partner of CastleRock Communities and serves as CEO. Lance’s career in homebuilding began in Dallas, TX in 1985. Lance’s career path in homebuilding has included Construction Manager, Sales Consultant, Service, Project Manager, Division President, and Regional President for several National and Regional Homebuilders. Lance has been involved in single family, multifamily, midrise, and town home development throughout Texas, California, Washington, Oregon, DC. and Maryland. Lance earned his BBA in Business from UT and currently handles all operational aspects of CastleRock including sales, construction, purchasing, and marketing.
Greg Yakim
Board Chair
Greg Yakim is a founding partner of CastleRock and focused on building the company’s culture, Raving Fan customer satisfaction initiatives, HR efforts and Bank financing relationships. Greg Stepped down as CO-CEO effective January 1 2024 but remains on the board, serving as chair and providing insight as the company grows.


Kirk Breitenwischer
Senior Executive Vice President
Kirk Breitenwischer joined CastleRock Communities in 2006 as a partner and serves as Senior Executive Vice President. His responsibilities include analysis of potential land development projects, due diligence, contract negotiation for the acquisition of land and existing lots and coordination of closing activities. Kirk’s experience includes over 35 years in homebuilding and land development on a national basis. During his career he has worked with a large Texas Developer/Financial Institution and worked 16 years with a top 20 National Homebuilder, serving as its National Land Development President and a member of its Board of Directors.
Kirk received his BBA in Finance from UT. He has been a member and/or has served in various real estate groups including the Urban Land Institute, the South Freeway Corridor Association and a Council Member for the City of Southside Place.
Daiwa House, publicly traded Japan-based predominant developer, construction and real estate global enterprise amassing homebuilding operations footprint in the United States, acquired interest in CastleRock Communities in 2021. Having one of the Fortune Global 500 list players investing in CastleRock has set the path for new land investment acquisitions for an ambitious growth over the near-term in the U.S.
